ASINPeek

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 24, 2026

ASINPeek (“ASINPeek,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a browser extension designed to provide Amazon sellers with product research, profitability calculation, variation analysis, and related seller tools.

This Privacy Policy explains what information ASINPeek collects, how it is used, how it may be stored or transmitted, and the third-party services involved in providing the extension.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an ASINPeek account, we collect your email address.

Your email address is used to:

  • verify that you have access to the email address provided;
  • create and identify your ASINPeek account;
  • manage your free trial;
  • verify subscription status;
  • prevent repeated use of the same free trial;
  • provide account-related and transactional communications.

Email Verification

ASINPeek requires email verification before a free trial can begin.

When you request verification, ASINPeek generates a temporary verification code and sends it to the email address you provided.

Verification emails are delivered using Resend, a transactional email service provided by Resend, Inc.

Your email address is transmitted to Resend only as necessary to deliver these transactional emails.

Verification codes expire after a limited period of time. ASINPeek does not store verification codes in plain text on its server. Verification information may include a cryptographic representation of the code, expiration time, verification status, and information necessary to limit verification attempts.

The ASINPeek free trial begins only after successful email verification.

Eligibility for a free trial may be limited to one trial per verified ASINPeek account or email address. ASINPeek may retain limited information necessary to enforce this restriction and prevent repeated trial use.

2. Subscription and Payment Information

ASINPeek uses Paddle to process subscriptions and payments.

Paddle may process information such as:

  • your email address;
  • payment information;
  • billing information;
  • subscription plan;
  • transaction status;
  • subscription status;
  • renewal and cancellation information.

ASINPeek subscriptions are recurring subscriptions. Unless canceled, subscriptions may automatically renew according to the billing period selected at checkout. Paddle processes recurring payments and payment-method information required for subscription billing.

ASINPeek does not directly collect or store your full credit card or payment card details.

ASINPeek may receive and store limited customer, transaction, and subscription information from Paddle that is necessary to determine whether premium features should be available to your account, manage subscription status, process subscription events, and provide account functionality.

3. Keepa API Key

Some ASINPeek features require the user to provide their own Keepa API key.

Your Keepa API key is stored locally in your browser and is used only to request Keepa data required by ASINPeek features.

When you use a feature that requires Keepa data, your Keepa API key may be securely transmitted through ASINPeek backend infrastructure solely for the purpose of making the requested API call to Keepa.

ASINPeek does not intentionally persist your Keepa API key as account data or store it in its application databases.

ASINPeek does not sell or rent your Keepa API key and does not use it for advertising or marketing purposes.

ASINPeek may process or store limited technical information related to Keepa usage, such as API token usage, request statistics, errors, or timestamps, when necessary to operate, troubleshoot, secure, or improve the service.

Keepa is an independent third-party service and is subject to its own terms and privacy practices.

4. Device and Installation Information

ASINPeek may generate and store a random installation identifier for the browser installation.

This identifier may be used to:

  • enforce device limits associated with an account or subscription;
  • prevent unauthorized sharing of subscriptions;
  • manage authorized installations;
  • provide account and subscription functionality;
  • maintain service security and prevent abuse.

ASINPeek currently permits up to two authorized browser installations/devices per account or subscription.

The installation identifier is not intended to identify your physical device or reveal your real-world identity.

ASINPeek may also process limited technical information such as extension version, Amazon marketplace, timestamps, activity status, and technical error information when necessary to operate or troubleshoot the service.

5. Locally Stored Extension Data

ASINPeek may store information locally in your browser, including:

  • settings and preferences;
  • Keepa API key;
  • installation identifier;
  • account state;
  • cached product or Keepa data;
  • trial and subscription status;
  • limited technical usage data required for extension functionality;
  • feature settings;
  • temporary technical information required for extension functionality.

Local browser data remains on your device unless it must be transmitted to ASINPeek's backend infrastructure or a third-party service to provide a requested feature, verify account or subscription status, obtain requested product data, maintain security, or perform other functions described in this Privacy Policy.

6. Amazon Product Information

ASINPeek analyzes information displayed on Amazon product pages and may request additional product information from third-party services such as Keepa.

This may include:

  • ASINs;
  • product titles;
  • prices;
  • categories;
  • sales ranks;
  • product dimensions and weights;
  • seller and offer information;
  • variation information;
  • ratings and review counts;
  • other publicly available or seller-relevant product information.

This information is used to provide ASINPeek's product research, seller analysis, variation analysis, fee calculation, profitability calculation, and related features.

ASINPeek is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon or Keepa.

Subscription or transaction information may be retained where reasonably necessary for billing, accounting, dispute resolution, security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Locally stored extension data may remain in your browser until it is removed by the extension, the user, browser settings, browser data deletion, or extension uninstallation.

10. Data Security

ASINPeek uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect account and service information.

Sensitive server credentials, such as backend service API keys and payment-service API credentials, are stored on backend infrastructure and are not intentionally included in the distributed browser extension.

Where appropriate, ASINPeek uses technical controls designed to limit unauthorized access to account, subscription, and service functionality.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

11. Data Sharing

ASINPeek does not sell or rent personal information.

Information may be shared with service providers only when reasonably necessary to operate ASINPeek, including email delivery, payment processing, backend infrastructure, subscription management, and product-data services.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, property, or integrity of ASINPeek, its users, or others.

12. Your Choices and Data Requests

You may stop using ASINPeek at any time and uninstall the extension through your browser.

You may manage or cancel your paid subscription through subscription management functionality provided by ASINPeek and Paddle.

You may contact ASINPeek to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account, subject to information that we may need to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, dispute-resolution, or trial-abuse prevention purposes.

You may also contact ASINPeek with questions about your account, subscription, or personal information.

13. Children's Privacy

ASINPeek is intended for business and e-commerce use and is not directed to children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when ASINPeek features, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices change.

The “Last updated” date at the top of this policy indicates when the latest revision became effective.
